The Parent Network. East Auckland
This began in 2012 to as a way to support parents of teenagers. Its major push is towards getting parents to connect with each other to talk about their roles as parents. The Parent Network does this by organising evenings which focus on teen issues which parents might have to deal with like: the ball season, drugs and alcohol and mental health issues. They use these events as a platform to promote their facebook page which provides a forum for parents to connect and discuss issues.
